GREAT GIFT IDEA! the Big & Little Class!

Big and Little means one kid and one adult, whether it's Mom, Dad, Gram, Pop Pop.

We hold a pottery/clay sculpture class about every other Saturday morning from 10 am to 11:15. This class if for kids aged 5-8. We schedule around school vacations and big holidays so the schedule is a little flexible. We offer quality instruction, a lot of fun, and great memories. Kids love learning alongside a significant adult (and sometimes showing them how). Send me an email at perezartstudio@yahoo.com for details.

SCULPTED VASE

 Sculted torso vase,BCL Perez

The vase is created in a warm terra cotta colored clay, or is glazed in a variety of colors, including earthy reds, soft greens or muted blues. Although each is handcast in a pressmold, each is different because of the handmade nature of this process. The terra cotta vases are perfect for holding dried grasses and twigs, while the glazes vases will hold cut flowers and water.

.

The vase is approximately 16" tall. The unglazed version sells for $175. The glazed version sells for $210.  Contact me for more information.

BRONZE PORTRAIT OF A SOLDIER, WAR OF 1812

This portrait depicts a soldier from the War of 1812. Commissioned by Westchester County, NY,  it was cast in bronze and placed on The Trail of Honor at Lasdon Park in Somers, New York. The county's Veterans' Association was the driving force behind the commission and installation at the park. The sculptures along TheTrail of Honor represent an American service man or woman from every major war and conflict, from the Revolutionary War through the 20th century. It also includes a memorial to the Merchant Marine.
